Today I felt sad.
Today I missed you more than ever.
Today I felt discouraged.
Today I felt overwhelmed.
Today no one left the house.
Today we are all still wearing pajamas.
Today I fell in love with someone else's home and was inspired by someone else's words.
Today I tried to hang a curtain rod, drilled more than enough holes and got the drill bit stuck in the wall twice.
Today I ordered and ate four slices of pizza.
Today was long.
Today I was ready for tomorrow.
**hugs** for you today!

ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog!
ReplyDeleteMy brother, a helicopter pilot in the Navy, is out on his second deployment right now. He left
November 30 ... my sister-in-law had their first child three weeks later. He hasn't met his little girl yet and isn't scheduled to return home until the end of June.
I can't even imagine how tough it is!!! My sister in law and I talk often (from opposites sides of the country) and I'm so blown away by how tough those Navy wives are! A new mom and a "single" mom for several more months!
And my brother, wow. Missing the birth of his first child. Literally freaking out to hold her and meet her. But working 20 hour days and keeping us safe instead. What a sacrifice!
I'm constantly amazed by them and by all of the other military families, like yours, that are so willing to sacrifice for our freedom. You are incredible. And so is your husband. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
